Final reflection 2015 

The part of body I have enjoyed the most this year is my brain  because this year I have got a lot of challenging things and i'll have to use my brain a lot. I am grateful for coming to this school and spending six years at this school and making new friends and getting the big certificate for being in kapa haka for,4 years. One thing that I think that i'll have to improve is my maths and to support my team kauri. One thing that i will miss from vardon is my friends and all my teachers because the teachers have taught me a lot supported me and help me. I will miss all my friends because they were very nice and made me laugh,cry,smile and a lot more. One of the best moments at vardon was winning a big certificate for being in kapa haka for,4 years 

Term 3 reflection

Term 3 Reflection  

This term we have doing a lot of thing. so I would like to talk to about this term. Firstly let me talk to you about or cross country. This is a day when the whole school does running on our vardon field or at minogue park. All age groups go at different times and do a certain amount of laps. This term the seniors went to minogue park. The nine year olds were up first. They did so well and so did all the other people. Later it was the 11 year olds and I was in that group. When we went I fell over that was so embarrassing but I just  got up and kept going. It was nearly over I tried to run so I could catch up to Makayla.but I didn't but i still came a placing.This term we have also been working on speeches. My speech was my tribe:Ngati Maniapoto.There were so much great speeches. We have played games with some girls from hamilton girls high school we played a lot of games like: rob the nest,ball rush and capture the flag.We also have had production I was in the maori group that was so awesome.that’s all I can talk to you about today.Thank you!!

What is........The moon?

The moon is a scoop of ice-cream been dropped in dark chocolate with sprinkles.  
It is a ball for the  stars to play with in the calm sky. 
It is a boat sailing around the world. 
It is the the light when night gets scared. 
It is the wolfs mother howling down to her kids. 

Camp 2015

On the 17th of March Rm 12 and 13 whet to the awesome place called karakariki we done a lot of activity's and a lot of games.On Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday we had to wake up at 6:00 in the morning but on Friday we got to sleep in.At karakariki there was a park,a kitchen and even a sitting room it felt like my home.my favorite activity was rifle shooting and BMX bike ridding.When I got up on the last day I really didn't want to go home but i could tell that my mum would miss me so I was actually happy that it was the last day so I can go home.

Trip to observatory

 On the 28th of  June the senior syndicate went to the Hamilton obervatory which was right next to Hamilton zoo. The weather was being nice so we can look through the telescope. At the observatory I learnt that the sun is not yellow it's mostly white. I also learnt that a house is part of a street, a street is part of a town, a town is part of a place, a place is part of a country, a country is part of  planet, a planet is part of the solar system, a solar system is part of a galaxy, a galaxy is part of the universe.       
One question i still have, Is there planets in the other galaxys?

having a fun birthday and eating lots of goodies and chocolate

I wish poem

 I wish I was famous and rich so I can get a flash car. 

I wish I had a house keeper so that they do everthing for me. 

I wish I lived in the best mansion in the world so that I can have a flash house. 

I wish I had a king size bed so that I can rap all the blanket around me.

The Anzacs

TheAnzac's are the NewZealand and Australian army crops. 

The Anzac's wore a dark green jacket and dark green pants for their uniform.

The Anzac's fought in Gillipoli peninsula.

The Anzac's fought so they can live freely.

Room 13 has done some art.  First we had to do a draft in  our art book.  Then we had to rule a line in the middle of the page as a guide line and then draw the size of our face . When we had finished drawing our face we had to rule a line where our eyes are going to be on our face and draw the eyes on the sides.Then we drew our nose we were not allowed to connect  the nose. I was about to do my hair but Miss Woolf said I can go on my good copy. With my hair I had to draw the part in my hair so that it looks just like me. I also drew my ears just below my eyes. I think I did great work!

Swimming Sports

Last Wednesday we went to Te Rapa pools for swimming sports. We got taken there by Ashlees mum, because it was raining. We had four people in each car. I feel so excited and I just couldn't wait till it started we ran in in the door but Ashlee's mum said slow down. We got changed and Ahlee's mum showed us where we needed to go we had go in the deep pool so we had seat and I heard everyone cheering, go Hillary, go Baton, go Ngata. Then the siren went and that hurt my ear and I heard Miss Wyllie say "can we have the medley people please". Then it was time for the parents and kids to race. It was awesome i wish i was in that. After that we had free time. Then we had to get changed. I did not want to go home. It was unfair because some kids went in the parents car and most of us was walking to school but it was a great day at Waterworld.

Holidays

 In the holidays I went to the chipmunks. I went there with my brothers girlfriends mum ,my two nieces Ererangi and Manaza plus my cutest handsome nephew Hawaiki.  Me and Ererangi went on the snake slide first, it was awesome but it takes a pretty long time just to get to the snake slide.  Shortly after that I got thirsty so I got  a drink.  We had to look after the little kids  and it was so boring. I had a big drink then me and Ererangi went on the bouncy castle and that was the best. We only had like 5 minutes on that then we had to go. I wish I could stay there longer.

Term 4 reflection

My term 4 reflection is... . To spell all the basic words corretly . To read more difficult reading books . Know more dividing and multipuls . To be better at swimming like breaststoke and dolphin diving. . Know more thing about new zealand

term 2 Reflecon

What I enjoyed in term 2 was making cheese scones with room 15 and making spiders. I was proud of myself for being the model for my group in the WOW show. It was quite scary but Mrs Williamson said I did a great job and looked very beautiful.
My goal that I achieved is to learn more multiplication and dividing.
My term 3 goal is to know more maths like decimals

Wow journey

On week eight the whole school is going to have a trasion show.I'm going to be  so excited. My group is doing a balancing lady.My costumes name is Balancing beauty we are going to have a stripy colouful dress with stars and a lovely big bow at the back of my dress. We need a umbrella to help us balance. All we need to do is the shoes and...walla an outstanding costume we have.Hope we all have a great time at the trashion show.
